Stana Puri Gopa Hotel Review. Stana Puri Gopa Hotel in Sanur is a beautifully decorated and tidy place that truly stands out. the staff is exceptionally attentive and caring, making you feel welcomed and valued. Its quiet and convenient location is perfect, as it's close to shops, and the hotel features separate bedrooms for added comfort. the tasty food served in the attached restaurant is definitely a highlight of the experience.

We really liked the shower :-) Hot and with sufficient water pressure (something that you don't encounter too often when travelling on budget!). Room was quiet, very spacious, and it even had a balcony. We loved the wooden doors with their intricate, colourful carvings. Breakfast was better than expected. Lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance.
TV didn't work at all - but we didn't even bother to have the staff check this. And yes, the towels could do with some replacements, although they just seemed to be old, not dirty.

Staff very helpfull, room clean and to a comfort level above average for money.
Indipendantly run on-site resteraunt below par in service and delivery. Food althow fresh, the serves and range a bit mean.

The hotel was very close to the Sanur beach, and close enough to the center.

Our individual bungalow was located in lovely gardens. We had a verandah and enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. We found the location excellent - just a short stroll from the beach and close to shops and restaurants.
It is a shame that the hotel is expanding by constructing high rise rooms above a new cavernous reception area. This section is out of character of the bungalows set in the gardens. Also the new modern restaurant lacks Balinese character.

Review for Stana Puri Gopa Hotel, Sanur
I had an excellent stay at Stana Puri Gopa Hotel and would definitely book here again. the venue was wonderful, and I loved the amazing location, which was perfect for relaxing on the beach lounges with a refreshing sea breeze. It was also conveniently close to temples and museums. the breakfast offered a huge variety of reasonably priced meals, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. this hotel made my stay in Sanur truly enjoyable!

The pool was very good, ideal for kids since it had two shallow parts that our 2 year old daughter could play. Pretty close to the beach, but too much south of the center in Sanur for us.
The service was pretty poor, eg when we arrived there wasn't even an effort of trying to meet us up by the taxi to help out. We paid for AC but only had it working for one night. They where up looking at the AC three times and tinkered with the remote and nothing more. So we only stayed there for two nights. Adding up was also a noisy construction site on the other side of the road...that didn't make things better either.

Our inhouse massage.
Rooms were disapointing, bathroom filled with water and the drain was very smelly, other rooms we were shown had a strong smell of mould. There were renovations going on which didnt make it comfortable or enjoyable around the pool and restaurant area.No fridge, dvd player or coffee making facities and no sunken bar! Different from the write up!
